Music has always propelled “T”. From his formative years in the church in southern VA to stages in Atlanta, GA, music is intertwined with his soul. T. has spent the past eleven (11) years lighting up Atlanta most notably as the frontman for the Alternative Rock band, The Commitaphobics. T.’s voice has been described as “UK”-ish … powerful enough to fuel a hotrod, yet warm enough to hush a baby’s cry … maybe it’s the latent Scottish heritage.
In 2011 T. began playing solo to improve his guitar chops and it didn’t take long for success to cultivate as requests for his solo performances quickly outnumbered his band gigs. Taking audiences from a distortion fueled “Lonely Boy” by The Black Keys to a soulful “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green … T. and his eclectic list of songs win over audiences each time he takes the stage. Looping (live recording) has been T.’s most recent focus, enabling him to play and record multiple instruments live, producing the effect of having four or five musicians on stage at once.
